resolution in mediation
What We Offer
Mediation is a way to come to an agreement to resolve a dispute before legal intervention or after legal intervention, but before your case is decided by a judge or jury. Mediation is a way for both parties to control the outcome of the matter before those who do not have to live with the outcome make the decision for you. A benefit of mediation is that you are heard and you have the ability to conclude the matter in a way that is acceptable to you. Contact us and schedule your mediation today.
“Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.” Matthew 5:25.
“The courts of this country should not be the places where resolution of disputes begins. They should be the place disputes end after alternative methods of resolving disputes have been considered and tried.” Sandra Day O’Conner.
"Dare any of you, having a grievance against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If you have disputes with one another, why not let those who are least in the church judge them?"
1 Corinthians 6:1-8

General Mediation: A mediation where the parties may be represented or unrepresented by attorneys. This type of mediation may be conducted in joint sessions, where the parties communicate together in the same room, or may be with the parties in separate rooms with the mediator exchanging information between the parties to come to a resolution.
Facilitative Mediation: A mediation for parties designed to guide the conversation, focusing on the interests of the parties. This is generally used when the parties have a pre-existing relationship and desire to resolve the matter without attorney involvement.
Collaborative Mediation: The parties meet together in joint sessions with their attorneys and attempt to resolve the dispute by focusing on the common issues and coming to an agreement. This may also happen between unrepresented parties with the mediator guiding the discussion if necessary. Both parties must be either represented by an attorney or unrepresented.

Plan with Purpose
Plan how to approach the matter in dispute. What do you want? What is your desired outcome? What can you live with? What are you willing to accept to resolve the matter? What is necessary for you?
Private
Know your mediation and what happens during it is safeguarded. Come to resolutions that may save relationships, time, stress, loss, embarrassment, and financial difficulties.
End Goal
Every mediation is different. Stay flexible and responsive to make sure the process ends in resolution. The end goal is to resolve the issue for all parties involved.
Outcome
End with a finished product, ready to head off litigation, resolve a dispute, possibly reconcile, or end litigation. Whether religious, business, personal injury, or familial in nature—you can resolve your dispute.
